A crack, once it happens, has two futures. It can be hidden, or it can be honored. This bowl chose the second using a mix of materials rarely seen. Experimentation was the main reason for this bowl, the first piece of a collection. For us cracks are not defects, it's a detail that gets respect. For this bowl we used an eco friendly material that looks and feels like ceramics, a contrasting color is used to accentuate the voids and cracks. Unique in form and looks, showing that sustainability, art and utility are not far away from each other.At 25 centimeters wide and 6.2 centimeters tall, the bowl tells a story through details and colors.Finished with walnut oil. Signed by the maker. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
