This piece came from a pruned urban tree, timber that grew in a city and was recovered before it became waste.
At the lathe, what the wood had become was followed rather than corrected. The knots were left exactly where the tree placed them, now the visual center of the form.
At 28 centimeters wide, it works as a centerpiece , present without dominating. Finished with Osmo oil and natural beeswax. Signed by the maker. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
It was made once. It will not be repeated.
