Wood does not lie. Every bowl, vessel, vase, and plate in this collection began as a question, what is already inside this piece of reclaimed wood? and was answered at the lathe. The grain, the knots, the spalting lines, the live edges: none of these are corrected or minimized. They are the work. Each piece is turned by hand, finished with Osmo oil and natural beeswax, signed by Álvaro de Luna, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. These are not decorative objects. They are functional sculptures made to be used, displayed, and kept for a generation.
